You consent to our processing of your personal data and the below outlined privacy policy when you provide personal data via booking at our website www.make-a-break.de and enter data in our optional feedback survey at the end of our service. You approve our use of your data in order to respond to and evaluate any job application that you submit to us.

1. WHO WILL HOLD YOUR INFORMATION?

Your information will be held by Make a Break Berlin UG (haftungsbeschränkt) (henceforth „Make a Break Berlin”.). Our registered address is: Müggelstr. 8, 10247 Berlin. You may block your information collected by us at any time, correct or request its deletion. You may withdraw the consent granted to us to collect and use your data with or without justification. 2. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

In order to visit our website, no personal data must be given or collected. We only store anonymous access data without reference to person, such as the name of your internet service provider, the page from which you visited us or the name of the requested file. Cookies can be used as a data collection method but only to collect and store the data anonymously or pseudonymously and provide no further detail as to your identity.
We collect personal data in the course of using our web and at service delivery only to ensure the functioning of an effective online booking system, to be able to provide our services to you and for complying with invoicing and tax regulations. In course of the online booking procedure we ask for your name, e-mail-address, phone number, payment information. After delivery of our service, you will be asked to take on an optional feedback survey. In the voluntary feedback survey, we ask for your name, e-mail address and indications of your satisfaction with various aspects of our service. When applying for a job at Make a Break, we ask for your name, email address, phone number, curriculum vitae and letter of motivation.

3. USE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We collect, process and use your personal information for the following purposes:
• Delivery of our service to you
• Invoicing
• Sending of in-game and team photos to our clients
• Publishing of the team photo on social media like Facebook and travel sites like Tripadvisor and Google if you consent to this, see §7.
• Sending of marketing related emails to provided email addresses (1-4 emails per year)
• Improving our services (escape rooms) according to the information you provided in the survey
• Selection of appropriate job candidates.

4. DURATION OF STORING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We record personal data for the shortest time period required to fulfil the purpose of the data collected but latest until withdrawal by you.

5. USE OF COOKIES

We use cookies on our website to provide more adequate support to you during the booking process and to make sure that you have the best possible booking and browsing experience when you are on our website.

6. SHARING DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES

Minimizing the collected amount and the security of your data are of utmost importance to us when forwarding your personal data to external third parties. Personal information of our clients will be only shared with select partners who we contractually obligated to treat your personal information with the same GDPR standard. Such partners are Google, Inc. (within the frame of our Analytics and Adwords agreements), Facebook (sharing team photos on our Facebook Page and internal communication on Facebook Messenger), Whatsapp (internal communication) our newsletter management partner Mailchimp and the travel site Tripadvisor.

7. PUBLISHING OF THE TEAM PHOTO

You consent to our using of photographs taken at events in publicity and marketing materials, including use on our site. Following the tradition of escape rooms, we take group photos at end of service delivery which we share with you and your team by posting it on our Facebook site. If you do not approve to this, please notify the Gamemaster at the relevant event prior to the photographs being taken. The Gamemaster keeps record of publication wishes of clients. In case of your refusal, we will send the group photo to an email address provided by you and we do not publish it.
